Our products are labeled with their expiration date on the packaging. Additionally, a bottle icon on the product label indicates the recommended usage time after opening. For example, '6M' means it is best to use the product within 6 months of opening, and '12M' means within 12 months.
PHA2 Exfoliating Toner and HRP5 Collagen-Firming Toner: Unopened, they can be stored for two years; after opening, please use within one year.
EAA20 Brightening Antioxidant Serum:Unopened, it can be stored for one year; after opening, please use within six months.

After undergoing laser treatment, the skin is usually more fragile. At this time, skincare should focus on two main aspects: moisturizing and repair, as well as sun protection. The following are factiv products suitable for use after laser treatment, contributing to repair:

For functional products such as the PHA2 Exfoliating Toner that promotes keratin renewal, the REL1 Firming and Radiance Serum, and the EAA20 Antioxidant Serum with brightening effects, it is recommended to wait two weeks after laser treatment before incorporating them into your skincare routine.
Absolutely! factiv products are safe for individuals with G6PD deficiency as they do not contain substances that could trigger symptoms. If you have G6PD deficiency, feel free to incorporate Factiv products into your skincare routine.
Before you start, we recommend taking a moment to review the ingredient list of the product. Consulting with an expert or your doctor is also advisable to ensure that the product is the right fit for your specific needs.
You might be aware that individuals with G6PD deficiency often avoid aspirin-like medications, but what about salicylic acid in skincare products? Rest assured, salicylic acid used in skincare, as well as its derivatives like Octyl salicylate or Homomenthyl salicylate (Homosalate) for UVB protection, have not been reported to cause G6PD deficiency issues. However, it's always a good idea to consult with your doctor for personalized advice.
When you're shopping for skincare and cosmetics with G6PD deficiency in mind, keep an eye out for certain ingredients, including menthol products, sunscreen with para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), Indian Henna, and anything with methyl salicylate, such as medicated oils. This will help ensure a safe and enjoyable skincare experience.
factiv products incorporate Phenoxyethanol as a component of their preservative system, a common ingredient found in numerous personal care items. With Phenoxyethanol constituting only approximately 0.4% of factiv products, it adheres to European regulations stipulating a safe limit of less than 1% for Phenoxyethanol usage. This makes it suitable for a broad spectrum of users.
Nevertheless, recent studies have raised concerns regarding potential effects on infants during pregnancy or breastfeeding. While there is currently insufficient evidence to definitively confirm these concerns, as a precautionary measure, we do not strongly recommend the use of factiv products for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
If you find yourself pregnant or breastfeeding, it may be prudent to explore alternative factiv products, such as SQL100, a 100% pure plant-derived Squalane Lightweight Hydrating Serum.

The entire range of factiv products is vegetarian-friendly, with the majority being vegan.
However, there are only two products that contain non-vegan ingredients:

- N-Acetyl Glucosamine (derived from shells)

Absolutely not! Thanks to advancements in technology, achieving 'cruelty-free testing' is now entirely possible. In our dedicated laboratory at the Hong Kong Science Park, we utilize skin cells to simulate human skin reactions to different skincare ingredients. This process eliminates the need for, and importantly avoids harm to animals, allowing us to formulate skincare recipes that are both highly effective and safe.
Additionally, with the maturity of skincare formula technology, we directly engage volunteers from the community to test product effectiveness and gather authentic user feedback. This approach serves as another viable and scientifically representative testing method. Prior to the launch of various skincare development projects, factiv actively recruits users from the community to be the first to experience and assess product effectiveness.
